Strategic Alliance
MOTOROLA Licensee – Latin America
Motorola has initiated a major program in the area of Brand/Trademark licensing and has recently designated MDX its sole licensee for the Latin America territory and transition its cordless business to a brand/trademark licensee to MDX. In the role of licensee MDX will be responsible for product manufacturing and continue to sell Motorola current cordless phones in addition to expand its current portfolio, launch new innovative electronic products that meet Latin American consumers needs. MDX will be working with secondary Motorola distributors to provide broad territory coverage as needed. Motorola alliance with MDX will preserve and grow a strong Motorola category and result in a successful business for all involved including retailers, distributors, corporate/enterprise, carriers and consumers.
